I’ve had my phone for about nine months and all was going well until recently. When i switch on the silent mode switch, my phone doesn’t vibrate. Some things, like face ID not recognising a face result in vibrations, but actually meaningful things don’t work, such as alarms, and it managed to have me wake up later than i needed to in the morning. Any ideas on how to fix it?

sorry, maybe i should’ve specified better, i meant the ringer switch? for example, when you have it on it makes it so that your ringtone only plays haptics, but not the sound, so at least you know your phone is ringing but in silence. However, that stopped working for me now.
yep, it vibrated for me for the months that i’ve had my phone but now it stopped. another thing is that when i try to open the camera from the lock screen or turn on flashlight from the lock screen, it doesn’t make those little haptics anymore (two small vibrations). pretty much, none of the vibrations that are supposed to be there work but the vibration motor still works.
my iPhone never vibrates on silent mode, silent is really silent. Had It vibrated before on silent mode?
