With my last OS update to Ventura 13.6.1. My photoshop doesn’t function correctly and my computer doesn’t function well either. Wondering if it’s safe to back down a few upgrades? Has anyone attempted that?

Note: it usually easier to fix problems then downgrade the system and all software.
Do you have the latest version of Photoshop?
My IMAC is 2017
My photoshop is 24...latest.
I cannot use the tools to work on my photos.
My computer spins for sometimes an hour at a time.
I have malware on my computer.
I have used photoshop on this computer for more than 6 years.
The problems began with Ventura.
I spoke to 4 APPLE support persons yesterday. I kept getting transferred until I lost the connection. Over 3 hours.
Today I had another appointment with APPLE support and I spoke to 1 person who quickly summed up my issue and asked me to "hold" which I did for 50 min. Foolish.
Tomorrow I have another appointment. Apparently this problem isn't uncommon. After that, I will take my desktop computer into the store.
