I don’t know how to unlock old iPhone 6+ w/t forgotten ID/passcode for long-long photos.

A relative handed me an old/reset iPhone 6+ (model A1549) 7 years ago before a week-long trip as a child so I could take pics. They’d created a random Apple ID for me to use (I can’t remember it) that isn’t my main and I haven’t used since. It was confiscated on my return and I only found the phone again this week. I can’t guess the lockscreen password (6 #s) and have no clue where the software’s at update-wise given the near decade spent uncharged. The stored data is clearly still there (unknown Apple ID and all), I just have no idea how to access it. It’s like I picked up a random phone off the street just to discover my preteen self had dropped it a decade back and neglected to leave my future self so much as a single helpful hint. Is there any hope of retrieving the photos? It’d mean the world to me to finally have them back.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Is there any chance that this relative copied your photos off of the phone upon your return, and could make a copy of the imported photos on their computer?
