Why does my IPad restart on its own?

My IPad (8th Gen) keeps on restarting on its own every 3 minutes, I've tried to restart it, delete large storage apps/games, but it still restarts on its own. Before it restarts, the screen freezes and it turns black and pink and green lines appear and disappear. I don't know how to stop this, I can barely use my IPad for over 3 mins, please I have important stuff in it. When I charge it, it shows 0% remaining, like how? The battery always shows a red line when I charge it, it won't even go away. Please help me, I need to fix this.

As described your iPad either has a failing battery - or has a hardware issue that may require repair.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you can explore your available options:
