Apple logo appears periodically on blank screen and I can’t login to my new iPad

There is similar question where the Apple logo appears periodically on the blank screen and you can’t login. I followed all the instructions to bring my screen back on by pressing the on and the volume button releasing the on button while still holding the volume up button and my iPad would come on. However, only for a short period of time and then revert back to flashing the logo and again unable to get back in to my iPad. I even did all these manoeuvres whilst my iPad was plugged in even though it is at 100% battery, the results were the same.

This is a brand-new iPad purchased a week ago . Is there a way to fix this or should I be sending it back?

Given that you iPad is new, if a fault is suspected, you would be well advised to return the item to your retailer.


Assuming that your iPad was purchased directly from Apple, you have benefit of 14-days within which to return your iPad for exchange or refund. If you have any concerns whatsoever, you should make use of this opportunity while you are able to do so.


Beyond 14-days, if defective, your iPad will be repaired or exchanged under Apple’s one-year limited warranty. Depending upon your country/region, you may have additional rights concerning available remedy.
