Customize the keynote picker's colors box (including deleting)

I have followed this trick to update the colors in my theme's color picker - Customize the keynote picker's colors box… - Apple Community, however I would still like to be able to remove the colors I don't need.

Is this possible?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14
