A very lightly used IMac bought in 2019. Over heating not likely an issue. Several pink and blue lines running vertically down screen. Took to the Apple Store. They said they’ve not seen anything like this on this computer. Wanted $550 to fix but unsure of the problem.

If the lines do not show up in the screenshot, then the display needs to be replaced.
