updating the operation system
I have been trying to load Turbo Tax and my IMAC is operating OS 11.7 and I need to have Monterey 12 loaded but when I try to update it says I am up to date with the 11.7 Any help here?

You are confusing an update with an upgrade. An update is when (if one is available) you install a newer version of the same operating system. An upgrade is when the current operating system is replaced with a newer one such as upgrading from Ventura to Sonoma. Go to the Apple store and do a search for the OS you need and then download it, assuming that your Mac can accept the upgrade.

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and if your iMac is a late 2015 or newer model, then on the download link for a higher OS. Alternatively, use the online version of TurboTax in your web browser.
