17.4.1 Update and No Cellular Service

After updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max to iOS 17.4.1 my cellular data was completely bricked. Four greyed out bars, did not go to SOS, no calls would go through, iMessage would not authenticate my phone number, and I received a repeated error message saying my cellular data was turned off (it was not). After 3 days and hours of support via Apple and Verizon, no progress was made and my phone still had no cell service. I tried every reset and troubleshooting method possible, nothing worked. I was even issued a new eSIM by Verizon, and still nothing.

How is this kind of issue possible? This is a thousand dollar device, that’s I have barely even used for a year. It’s unacceptable. I finally brought my phone to a technician in a Verizon store and was told that it was a software issue that couldn’t be fixed on their end. I ended up just buying a new phone. This is not a feasible solution for many. Apple support was unhelpful and refused to acknowledge the issue. What kind of resolution can Apple provide for this major issue?
