Fake Ads on Facebook Redirecting to Fake Apple Security Warnings

April 2024: I am observing a large number of scam ads on Facebook that redirect macOS web browsers to a website showing fake Apple security warnings, with a call to action to download or install questionable software. None of the Facebook ads were computer-related in any way. The ads are obviously placed there as click bait. When I report these to Facebook, the staff there does not see the problem because they are not using Macs, and they will not remove them. Meta's reporting system does not allow me to provide written information explaining that it can only be observed on Macs.

Mac Users beware - The security warnings at these websites are fake and are targeting Mac users. Ignore these sites and DO NOT install software. I reported these multiple times and Meta is taking no action.
