MacOS DCP PANIC

I am experiencing OS Crash while using screen copy tool (Sonoma 14.4).

The issue was introduced in recent version of Sonoma (I believe Sonoma 14.3 or Sonoma 14.2).

M1 Max MacBook Pro 16" shows green screen and restarts when connected to external display Hey all, I have an M1 Max MacBook Pro 16" with 32GB of RAM, 1TB storage and 32 graphics cores which I've encountered a strange problem. I'm running a clean install – not an upgrade from Catalina – of MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 and for some reason, I have a fatal error that I can replicate. When I attach my MBP to my external monitor via an Anker Lightning (USB-C) to DisplayPort cable, along with my USB hub for using a mouse and keyboard, close my laptop lid with the power connected so that it does not go into sleep mode, and then attempt to use a graphics heavy app, such as a video game or video editing, at some point the image on the monitor will be replaced by a solid green screen, and the Mac will restart itself with the error "Your Mac was restarted because of an error." It will happen every time I do this, which is why I can replicate it. I have several kernel panic logs that I can share with someone who knows how to parse them and shed some light on this mystery. I have attached the most recent one to this post as additional text. As far as I can tell trying to skim through it in Console, the error is always the same. I should also add that I have an M1 MacBook Air that I was able to use to try and replicate the issue, and was unable to do so. When connected with the same display cable, to the same monitor, with the same USB hub also attached, and with the Mac lid closed, I was able to compute successfully for quite some time without encountering the same green screen crash and restart at all. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the MBP, though I hope it is not on a hardware level. For troubleshooting, I closed out any and all extra programs that I had running in the background, but no luck there. I also restarted the Mac while holding down the TouchID button to bring up the boot menu, and then held down Command + D and ran the Apple Diagnostics, but that returned no issues, even after I ran it again.

Repeated crashes under any load with 2019 MacBook on Ventura 13.4 Experiencing an issue on my MacBook Pro where I get graphics artifacting on the screen before it goes black and crashes to reboot. Have ran several hardware diagnostic tests and brought the device in for further testing with Apple but can't seem to find any hardware-based issues here. These crashes/panics happen repeatedly with any use in Lightroom Classic or Final Cut Pro and do not appear to be affected by whether I am using an external display or running on battery power. Have tried wiping the device and running the programs with no other software/plugins installed but the behavior persists. I will include an EtreCheck report below. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm running into a wall here.

Finder and system freeze and crash I'm out of my league when it comes to troubleshooting this kind of problem. I don't know where to begin with the crash logs or understand what I'm reading there, so perhaps I can find some tips here. Because it seems related to a workflow involving Adobe Lightroom I'm also inquiring in Adobe-related fora. Any insights welcome. 2018 Intel Mac mini, 12.6.1, 32GB, LrC 12.1 Troubles seem to start sometime after downloading Lumix GH6 video and RAW files from a CFeType B card. One thing I notice in Lightroom, related or not, is a ! warning on a few files that I may not be able to make changes to those files so marked. Doesn't seem to be true, but maybe there's something invisible below the surface of that warning. Maybe this and the crash described next are related to something with the card itself. Angelbird (card mfr.) pointed their finger at Lightroom, so no help there. Again, I don't know how to read crash reports.) Later, after importing, and/or doing other non-LR work, when I attempt to eject the card from the reader (ProGrade, no firmware update available) I get a spinning beach ball and my Finder is frozen - can't eject anything, or close any finder window. Force quitting processes from Activity monitor or otherwise makes no difference. If I relaunch Finder, I never get my desktop or any finder windows back. When I attempt a restart, I lose everything onscreen, but it remains gray and my only option is a hard shutdown via long press on the Mac mini start button. Doesn't seem good. Upon starting up again, I'm able to eject the card without problem and do so immediately. I've erased the card a couple of times. I've not yet tried a deep format. Maybe it's not even the card. I've not yet tried swapping the card reader type-c cable and I guess I could my other CFeB card, though the possibility of these hard shutdowns spook me and want to limit them. I no longer have Apple Care on the Mini; maybe I should look into it. Upgrading to Ventura is way too soon given various plug-ins and audio and video production I do. Thanks for reading.
