How to downgrade iPhone iOS version

I installed 17.4.1 without realizing it would change everything & make me hate my phone. How do I delete the update so my email & apps will work & my contacts, ringer, etc will go back to how I had them?

You can’t go back, but you can troubleshoot the problems that you are having, and that hundreds of millions of other users are not having. 17.4.1 is a bug fix version replacing 17.4.0.

One thing to check is the build version. Go to Settings/General/About and tap on the version. If it shows 17.4.1(21E236) you should update to the “slipstream” version 17.4.1(21E237). You cannot do that over the air; you must do it using your computer. Learn how to update your device manually if you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or if you're using a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC.
