My Mac's Documents folder is missing, and two unexpected folders have been added. Is my system compromised?

I woke up one day and in my "On My Mac" folder there was another folder with Asian writing on it and in that folder were two folders, "Audio" and "History." Along with that my documents folder is now missing from in my main users folder. Can someone help explain what happened?

Why do some folders automatically appear in the Documents folder? My Documents folder often fills up with folders of type "0e" "03" "da" "e7" for no apparent reason. I delete them but others appear after a while, what is the reason and how can I fix it (using Sonoma 14.1.1 Apple M2 2022 and latest version for MacBook Air 2017, it happens in both).
