How to screen mirror Mac to Tv

I am trying to connect tv by mirroring Mac but I can't see the name of the TV. It is a Samsung TV It is not showing the name of the TV. is there any alternative way to connect my Mac and TV?

Hi! Sorry to hear that you are having issues screen mirroring to your tv!


my first suggestion is to make sure your tv is compatible with screen mirroring. You can do this by finding the model of your tv and googling if it supports screen mirroring (there may also be a tv setting that you have to turn on)


my second suggestion: try connecting to your tv using an HDMI cable. This still provides an option to mirror your screen, just using a wire. For some more information, go to Use your TV as a display with Mac - Apple Support
