How do I turn off my Apple Watch?

iWatch doesn't have an off slider any longer. The only way I could get the watch to turn off was by pressing both side buttons. The off slider has been replaced with a pathfinder (?) Another writer said they found the off button in the upper right corner. I pressed that and nothing happened
