Removing my old profile photo from other iphones

Hi there,

When I was travelling for a year I set my profile pic to be a comedy photo of me. Now I'm back at work it's been automatically shared with all my work contacts so when I call, that's the photo that appears on their phone.

I've changed all the profile pics on my phone but it hasn't updated on other people's phones so when I call people they see the old photo.

Help me from looking unprofessional please - I've been searching for a solution everywhere!!

Ps - I'm actually on an Iphone 14 not sure why it says 6s.

Hi,

If you are on iOS 17 (your phone support it, if it is an iPhone 14) there is a new functionnality for call that show an call poster that you can edit, by clicking on edit button in contact app with your contact page you can add another call poster and make a memoji or photo...

If you are not on iOS 17 you should update it for security reason and functionnality like call poster.

I had a similarly problem and another solution is to share your contact page.It worked for me I think it will work for you.

Thanks however I have changed the poster already and they still get the old photo. I'm fully updated on the most recent version of iOS 17. Any other ideas?

If they have you already in message app or contact.They should have a button « update profile » in message

They do but I need a way to push the new photo to them rather than them selecting it. No one I know updates profiles regularly. Is it possible to do that?
