Messages has only phone numbers

Hi,
You may have a contact problem and if your contacts are not syncronised with an app (apple, gmails or others) the name won't show because people are not in contact.
To syncronise contact with iCloud here's a tutorial from apple : Set up iCloud for Contacts on all your devices - Apple Support.
If you already use iCloud for contact sync verify that you have enough storage.
