Outlook will not download attachments on Mac
I've been trying for days to figure out how to fix this. Most of the people with the same question are from 2022, and none of those 'fixes' helped.
iMac 24″, macOS 14.4
I have a Mac running Sonoma 14.4.1
After trying several helps from Google forums (clearing cache, etc..) I decided to take the plunge (I'm not a computer tech person and I'm afraid of making things worse!) Yesterday (04-04-24) I deleted Outlook and downloaded a new one. When it finally downloaded I was able to open attachments again. However, after a couple downloads it stopped working. I forwarded an email from my Outlook.office account to my Hotmail and I was able to download the attachment. So that didn't make sense.
So today, I downloaded Chrome (I had been using Safari) and now the attachments are downloading again. We'll see if this fix lasts. Hopefully this helps someone else.
