Why is the Pages insertion point too small

By changing the System Preferences/Settings : Appearance : Accent Color to Blue (my choice), it is much easier to see than the default yellow insertion beam.

There is no setting in Pages or System Preferences to alter the Pages insertion beam height, other than use a larger Pages document zoom setting (e.g. 125 - 150).

People are using Pages or this community would be empty of posts.

From the Pages application menu, you can send feedback directly to the Pages product team. As these are fellow user supported communities, no product teams participate here, or will read your post.

A simple trick might be helpful: press and hold the shift key and then use the right (or left) arrow key. This will create a text selection starting at the insertion point extending to the right (or left) highlighting the text. Now the edit location should become easily spottable.

Thank you VikingOSX. This for some reason didn't work for me the first time I tried it but at your suggestion I tried it again and it worked. The insertion-point now stands out clearly as my chosen color of green.
