Maybe ... sorry, but there is no way to tell with this little amount of information in your post.


For example, I have a number of older Macs (pre-2011 models) that won't work with my AirPods, whereas, much newer models work just fine. This should hold true for other Bluetooth-enabled devices, like TVs. It will depend on what Bluetooth protocol versions that they support.


So, if you are set on trying to use AirPods with this "older" Vizio TV, and you haven't purchase the AirPods yet, I suggest that you can go ahead an purchase them. Should they not work out with this particular TV, Apple offers a 14-day return policy, to get a full refund.
