Studio Display Mic Sound

My voice sounds like I'm in a tunnel — a tunnel lined with tin — using the mic on my new Studio Display with Mac Mini. It sounded MUCH better using the mic on my old iMac. I paid more for the Studio Display plus Mac Mini than I would have for a new iMac (that is, if Apple still offered 27" iMacs), yet I got what sounds like an inferior mic. Anyone else had this experience

Terrible Mic Issues with brand new iMac Hi - I seem to be having a terrible sound quality issue with my new iMac's mic. It seems to only be an issue when communicating with someone else's iPhone while I am on my Mac, ie, when they use FaceTime with me, or basic phone calls, or when they use zoom on the phone. It's not an issue otherwise. Is anyone else having this problem? I've looked at other threads, and there's no advice or help given-- just someone coming on to tell people with this problem to contact support. Any advice would be most appreciated, please. Thanks.

Mac mini has no mic I’ve always had iMacs, but just got a Mac mini and a non Apple monitor. I’ve attached an old set of speakers but just realized I can’t answer phone calls in my computer because I have no mic! What is a good mic to fix this issue. Will it run all the time my computer is on?
