MacBook Pro 14” Dead LCD for no reason

My MacBook, started randomly getting the screen off for no reason, the first time i thought it was the battery or a faulty os update, i contacted the support and made all the resets possible, they suggested me to go to an Apple Store to get it checked. In the genus bar, they checked it and said that the lcd connector is faulty and the screen needs a replacement for an amount around the 1000$! Which is absurd as i didn't damage anything so the blame is on Apple’s Engineers or manufacturers but not me. He said so far there is no recall program and i have no other choice than the 1000$ repair or use it as a desktop with an external display )which is laggy and freezing randomly, i don’t know why)

my questions now:

1-did i got a good luck before this machine, and this issue is often occurring? (I’m having Mac’s since my clamshell iBook back in 2000’s)

2-do anyone have heard about a replacement program so i can fix this issue and forget this problem.

3-do Apple is trying to force us to hate the company or buy Apple vision ?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.4

There is no Service Program for you issue

Service Programs are triggered by the percentage of all MBP of this spec vs the number of failures documented.

We are not privy to this %, or have any more insight.

Typically in the past if Apple does release a Service Program, they have offered a refund for out of pocket expense parts & labor for the exact issue covered.

A repair ticket, and/or your Apple Feedback—all are heading in the right direction to trigger this release.

My MacBook Pro 13” 2019 has what sounds like the same and/ or very similar problem. The esc light comes on but I can’t boot up and the screen is the death screen. I have went through all the troubleshooting steps with Apple on two different occasions several months apart, hoping for a different outcome, and in between tried myself with the steps to no avail I was told I could ship it in for screen repair and It could be fixed for 1500. Oh, and I had to put $500 down to send it off This was before the Apple dealers came in to play. I haven’t looked into that as far as how much cheaper the prices would be The closest Apple Store for me is five hours. There is one Apple Dealer an hour and a half away from here. I don’t know what caused mine to do it either. Mine is out of warranty but I’m not a heavy user on this computer. I got it for personal use so I could keep my business work items, separate and personal in a different system altogether I have an iPad and an iPhone so that connectivity cohesiveness was ideal for me. It’s a matter of coming up with that type of money or determining if it’s worth the Overhaul or investment compared to the cost of a new computer at some point down the line although way down the line it’s very disappointing and frustrating. It shouldn’t have been an issue IMO. I’ve had two DELL XPS laptops, an XPS13 for 11 years and the XPS15 for 7 years before I handed it down to someone else. I got the 2019 one once the 2020 model came out and it stopped working late 2022. I have been so mad about it that I put it up. Out of sight out of mind. Any thoughts, ideas or lifelines I would be forever grateful!
