How To Remove Horizontal Footer Line In Pages?

I've tried troubleshooting this for a while and able to edit just about everything except for getting rid of that pesky blue line at the bottom of pages. Can anyone tell me how I can remove this and/or edit this?

That blue line is a Section layout object behind the text layer on a Business Resume template. On the Pages Arrange menu, select Section Layouts > Make Layout Objects Selectable. Now, click that blue line and yellow grips will appear on each end. Just tap the delete key to remove it.

Tested: Pages v14.0 and macOS Sonoma 14.4.1.
