Script editor cannot open files in the "Disk Image" format

Script Editor cannot open files in the "Disk Image" format. I'm trying to upgrade software I've used for decades. I have no problem on my MacBook Pro. I am using a 2020 iMac, 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel, 32 GB Memory, Sonoma 14.2.1

Control-click one of those files in the Finder, choose Open With, and then DiskImageMounter.

It worked! Thank you so much! I've been dealing with this for too long. Had resorted to doing most of my work on a MacBook.
