Title kind of says it all. I have a 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited and I want to use Apple CarPlay in it. Does it have Apple CarPlay? If it does, how do I get it to work? If it doesn’t, can I get the software installed/do it myself or do I need a new radio?

From what I was able to find on a google search the 2016 Cruze Limited did not come with Apple CarPlay. Whether it can be added, you'd need to ask Chevrolet, but it likely requires replacing the infotainment system. You could also go to BestBuy or an Car Audio retailer and have a new system installed in your car. But that may be a bit pricey.

I went on a forum and read many posts from people who said their 2016 Cruze Limited had the same infotainment the 2015 models had and did not have Apple CarPlay. I could certainly be wrong, but it's what several said who own the Limited model.
An internet search indicates that the 2018 Chevy Cruz Limited does support Apple CarPlay (wired, not wirelessly).
