I have a iPad 10th generation and I was wondering if I get the keyboard for it and plug my iPad into a monitor so that I could use it as a computer, like the iPad pro’s and how you can use it like a computer with two screens. I don’t want to mirror the screen I want to use it like a computer.

Unlike recent models of iPad Pro and the current iPad Air, your iPad10 does not support Stage Manager - this being the feature that provides a full extended desktop view when connected to an external monitor.
As such, while your iPad10 can be connected to and used with a compatible external monitor, you will only be able to use screen mirroring. As such, your available view will be limited to that of the iPad screen, preserving the screen aspect ratio of the iPad display.
However, when streaming of viewing some video content, the external monitor can be used to display this content full-screen.
