Can I remove rosetta
I'm using the Mac Studio. It seems that I have Rosetta running but it's interfering with my Photoshop. Is it safe to remove Rosetta? What is it actually for? and how do I remove it?

Rosetta is there so your Apple Silicon Mac can run apps with only Intel code. It has nothing to do with Photoshop.
This assuming you're using the latest version of PS CC, and you haven't checked this box in the Get Info dialogue.
Applications > Adobe Photoshop 2024 > Adobe Photoshop 2024
Highlight the main app and press Command+I. Or, right click on the app and choose Get Info. Either does the same thing.
It likely depends on what type of Mac you have. If it has an Intel CPU, then there's no reason for the app to have an option to run in Rosetta since it's already running as an Intel native app.
On my M2 Pro mini, I do have the option to turn it on:

In version 24, Adobe quit offering Rosetta support, so you will no longer see that option when viewing the application. It now runs natively on Silicon chips as it should.

I can't seem to find that dialogue. I've looked under Photoshop settings... can you help me find it?
Ok found it and that solved my problem. Thank you so much!
Ah, you found it while I was typing.
This is not the dialogue box I get and I can’t find it. I right click or try the cmd + l and I don’t don’t see this. I only see s much smaller box without the Rosetta box to check

Hmm, odd that I still get that option in the latest 2024 version of Photoshop.
Apparently Photoshop continues to support Rosetta, maybe due to the extensive plug-in library where many of them were built for Intel processor.
