Buying Macbook for Indian Employee

Apple does not ship out of country of purchase. Have the employee purchase the computer in India then reimburse the employee. Or, buy the computer and have it shipped to you. Then you ship the computer to the employee in India.

Use the Indian online Apple Store if you need to purchase a Machine in India.

Apple will not ship internationally at all.

Any taxes you need to pay have nothing to do with Apple, it would be whatever shipping mechanism you chose outside of Apple to have it shipped to you. Import Taxes are defined by your country, again, nothing to do with Apple.

Again, there are no international shipments from Apple directly.

My statement is that I attempted to ship a Macbook Pro from IRE to India and the machine was stuck in customs with the expectation we pay 77% of the cost of the machine. Again, Apple does not ship outside the country of purchase. The credit card used for the purchase must be issued in the same country of purchase.

Apple does not block cards directly. Only the card issuer or bank can do that. If your card is getting declined when making the purchase, then contact your issuer or bank and tell them. It may have a spending limit that is exceeded by the MacBook purchase.
