bought My wife a new 13 for Christmas 2022. This past Saturday night, latest iOS upgrade (17.4.1 ) rendered the phone function inoperable. Has anyone experienced?

Try and force restart it to see if the issues persist
- Press and quickly release the volume up button.
- Press and quickly release the volume down button.
- Press and hold the side button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
