I tried making an in app purchase for $2.99 using apple pay that is linked with my debit card as payment. The purchase did not go through, yet apple charged me $2.73. There is no record of the purchase on the AppStore yet I was still billed by Apple and I have the records of it. How can I get a refund?

I tried but because there was no record of the purchase I can’t select it which is a pre-requisite for requesting a refund. I selected a different in app purchase and explained my issue, but i’m not sure that will work.

Nope, that will most likely not work.
What was the full description of the charge that you saw?
just says apple.com/bill and $2.73
Charged for no reason
