Dynamic Island automatically follow live sports?

The TV app will automatically follow with live sports update in the Dynamic Island when you have your favorite teams selected. NOTE: Not all sports leagues provide the Live Update feature. For example, NBA and MLB games have live updates while NHL does not.

The other thing is that, I have not found this feature to be 100% dependable yet. There will be days when the Live Updates will come on autmatically and then there will be a string of days when it doesn’t and I have to manually follow.

You can select Favorite teams through the Apple TV app on your iPhone.

Follow your favorite teams

1. Tap Home, scroll down to the Sports row, then tap Live Sports.
2. Tap Follow Your Teams.
3. Tap Turn On to sync your teams across Apple News, Apple TV, and other supported apps.
4. Tap a sports league (MLS, MLB, or NBA, for example), then tap  next to a team to follow it.
5. When you’re finished, tap Done.
