I am using iTunes (v12.13.1.3) on a PC (Windows 11) to play songs in my library. The itunes songs play normally from my other devices but have a low volume level when played on my PC. I have the itunes volume slider all the way to the right and sound check is turned off. All other sound sources on my PC play at twice the volume (Spotify, Youtube, PC notifications). Please help.
If you left-click the speaker button on the lower right corner of your Windows screen you will see a volume control. That should be at 100% already but effectively, there is a second volume control for iTunes, perhaps that's set too low.
Right-click the speaker button and (in the panel that pops up) adjust the volume control slider that's marked iTunes, as shown in the screenshot below:
An alternative route is to go to Windows Settings/System/Sound/ and scroll down that page to the section titled Advanced sound options and click on the text App volume and device preferences. The layout on that page is slightly different, but once again there is the volume control named iTunes.
All of this is in addition to the volume slider in the iTunes window.
