Error 10.01 displays when playing ITVX on MacBook Air

When I try to play ITVX content on my Mac it gives the message ERROR 10.01 and instructions on how to solve.. beginning with Go to Chrome/Settings/Content. I can't find any such place on my OS 10.12.6

Anyone know where I will be able to find a toggle button connected to 'protected content'?

A: If you’re running macOS 10.12.6, you are WAY behind. That version of macOS is no longer supported.

B: The instructions you reference are for the Chrome browser from Google. You need to be looking in the settings for Chrome, assuming you have actually installed Chrome.
