Laptop screen locks screen when I lean back

I have two screens; my laptop and a monitor a little up and to the right of the laptop. I have a browser open on the external monitor with a video on it, hit play, lean back a little and turn a little to face it directly and my computer automatically locks the screen. I've done internet searches and turned off hot corners to no avail.

I cannot describe to you how angry this is making me that I can't use my screen in the exact same ways I have been because now suddenly glancing away, adjusting my position, reclining at all, any movement other than staring my laptop down locks the screen.

How do I turn this setting off?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.2

Go to system settings>Lock Screen and make sure that all the settings there are correct. You might want to turn auto-lock off to see if the issues persist

do you have a hot-corner enabled? is the mouse moving into a hot-corner?

System preferences > dock & screen saver > Screen saver > (Hot Corners) ...

Have you enabled "full screen" ??

"full screen" is a feature reverse ported from the iPhone, land of tiny screens and one-at-a-time processing. Since it was introduced, it has improved substantially. When it was first ported, the built-in screen went completely BLACK.

It doesn't go black, it goes straight to the Lock Screen with the user log in window.

All of the Lock Screen settings are correct. I have it set to go to screen saver after 20 minutes

I ran an update and it wasn't a problem prior. I literally SNEEZED today and it went to Lock Screen. I turn my head to the side to look at someone for three seconds--Lock Screen. I use the mouse to click on something and lean back and it goes to Lock Screen as my back hits the chair. I stare into the camera dead on and lean back at a normal speed and it goes to Lock Screen.

If I don't move AT ALL and am less than two feet from the screen, it will stay on. My standard daily work has me spending hours of my time reclining, leaning away from my laptop, staring at the external monitor, looking down making notes on a tablet, leaving the laptop five minute walks, not touching the keyboard for an hour during a google meet meeting while I hand write notes on a tablet. This hasn't ever been a problem before.
