How to send a file via email from finder on a Mac?
On a windows pc, it's easy to send a file by email by right-clicking on it and choosing "send to mail". How does one do this on a Mac?

I finally figured it out...basically, I had to set the MAIL program as the default email program in the MAIL settings:
- Open Mail program.
- Click on Mail in the upper right corner and choose Settings.
- Choose General tab
- Change Default email reader to: Mail
- Go to the file you want to send via email
- With the file selected, choose File/Share at the top of the window. Alternatively, Control-click on it or two finger tap on it using the track pad (Laptop) to bring up the menu and choose "Share"
- Click on the word "Mail" at the top of the little popup menu. This will open the Mail program and compose a new email with the file attached.
- Fill out the email recipient and message as when sending a normal email and click send
