Plugging a Gaming PC into a iMac

I have a 27" iMac 2014, with a Graphic Card that just does not cut it in PC Bootcamp with the modern games being released. Is it Possible to connect a PC Gaming Platform to the iMac to use it just as a Screen for the PC? Space in my office is very limited and second screen is a impossibility.

IF do this, how would you go about it, all external ports are USB - A,

How do start up the iMac and use the PC as the operating system?

No. Target Display Mode went away when the first 27" 5K Retina iMac came out in Late 2014. That's the one you have.

That Mac also has two Thunderbolt 2 ports, an Ethernet port, and a combination analog/optical "headphone" jack. The Thunderbolt 2 ports have Mini DisplayPort connectors and can double as Mini DisplayPorts for the purpose of driving an external display with up to 4K resolution.

But they don't accept video input.
