Canon Printer drivers for Printer/Scanner MG8150 using the unit in Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Recently I moved to a new Mac mini and used Migration assistant to transfer from my old iMac. However, my Canon Printer/Scanner MG8150 can no longer printer using the new operating system. It seems to me missing new drivers. The copper does communicate with the unit as I can scan fine but not print. My partner's brother prints works fine not my Canon. Anyone have ideas what I can do to get it to print? Many thanks. Andy

However, I have found a solution ...

I went to the Canon IJ Network Tool app

searched for my printer in Utilities that updated the driver, then I tried reinstalling it on the Sonoma interface and it worked.

Adding this for others who may have a similar problem.
