iphone turning off speaker in discord call

Hello, when i am in a discord call bad i have turned on speaker via discord my phone keeps turning it off. Even when I go to the call screen and i turn it on it will turn itself off after a few seconds.

Speakers quiet when on a call? Whenever I’m on a call on discord I can barely hear anything except for the person I’m on call with unless I use earbuds. With earbuds there is no problem whatsoever, but if I’m using my speakers I can barely hear anything else at all. This is extremely irritating as I can’t use my earbuds and charge at the same time. The volume works normally with my phone speakers when I’m not on a call and I can hear everything perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this? I’ve been looking for a solution and haven’t been able to find anything.
