My lost iPhone not showing up on Find My Device

Your lost iPhone is probably not showing in Find My because it is has a dead battery OR it cannot connect to the internet. Did you have passcode set to unlock your iPhone? If you did, then the finder of your iPhone will not be able to use your iPhone.

Troubleshooting a Stolen Device:

Changing your password is an excellent step to take. If your password has been changed, then they will not able to get into your Apple ID. If there is a passcode on it, then it will be locked, if too many unsuccessful login attempts.

Modify your Credentials:

Consider modifying your credentials, for Security & Privacy concerns, starting with a new eMail address. Here is how it would work with Apple:

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Passwordfor each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
