Transferring only some files from old MacBook pro to new mac pro mini

My current MacBook pro (mid 2015) is currently running parallels so that I have Windows. I do not want to transfer Parallels and the Windows side of the MacBook to the new mac mini. Can I transfer my my word and excel files successfully or do I need to export them to pages and numbers?

Sure you can!

no neec to convert.

i’m assuming you have an Office 365 licence, so install it on the new mac and you will be able to open those files, no matter if these were created under Windows.

And no need to use Parallels either unless you have an absolute need for Windows
