Troubleshooting QT Player audio files

While editing segments of an audio file repeatedly using command-Y to split and edit segments output after an X Spaces live event as mp4a, the segments appeared to play but no sound could be heard.
Then while rebooting to see if that helped some of the audio files (saved variously as haic, mov, mp4a) disappeared.

To start with everything worked ok but then the audio of some segments could not be heard but seemed to be playing. I was backing up but then a number of the temporary files themselves seemed to vanish off the desktop.

No sound on exported audio file Hello, I am working on a Garageband project and I'm trying to export the audio to my desktop. When I play the file, the audio cuts off around the 45 second mark. On garageband nothing weird happens at the 45 second mark, so I'm confused. Wav, aiff, and aac files all have this problem. I've tried isolating single tracks and then exporting to see if any single track was causing a problem. But the problem still persists even on isolated tracks. Verrrry occasionally the audio will cut out on garageband itself at the 45 second mark, but it seems random when it does that and I don't know how to recreate it. I worked on this project yesterday and had no issues exporting the file. Does anyone have any advice to fix this? Thank you

Previously recorded audio won't play in logic Hello, I've noticed that some of my projects are not playing back previously recorded audio. I can see the audio file in the session and can even locate the file in it's correct folder however, I have several projects that won't play the audio files. I've tried restarting logic as well as my computer. Please Help...

Pro Logic X missing audio files I continue to get the error message when I open a session: The Audio file “(name).wav” was not found in it’s expected location It lists two files, both of which I have previously deleted from the Project. I have tried “Search” and “Locate” and even looked in the trash, but I can’t find them. I don’t need them, but it is annoying that every time I open the Project, this error message comes up. Is there a way to stop the message since it is not applicable and the files have been removed from the Project?
