iPhone not connecting to cellular service after updated to iOS 17.4.1

My phone auto-updated the software last night and I cannot connect to the internet as of this morning (everything was fine yesterday). I tried resetting the network settings but it did not solve the issue.

Please help to provide instructions for how to remedy this issue.

Try and see if you need to install a carrier settings update

Make sure that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
Tap Settings > General > About.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install your carrier update.

I have tried this and when I click 'update' on the pop up, nothing happens.
