Mackie Onyx 1640 Firewire audio interface with Sonoma

Dear community,


I want to ask around if my Mackie Onyx 1640 Firewire audio interface will be recognized and function on Sonoma. Before I run the upgrade I would rather ask around. Now running Monterey in a M1 MBP.

Just found the solution :


Download "applefwaudioventura.pkg" from the net (type this on Google)


disable SIP on your mac


go on system preference/ security and then authorise you will find the "applefzaudioventura.pkg" then you will able ton install it. And ... to see your soundcard will appear :)


don't forget to enable SIP at the end :)
