YouTube stuttering on Apple TV

I have an Apple TV 4K and when I playback Youtube videos, the adverts stutter before the video loads on each and every video.

I'm getting over 300mb download speed over wifi.

I reset the Apple TV back to factory settings and tried again but still the same.

The latest software is on it.

My MacBook Pro M1 sits adjacent to it and has no issues on playback.

Apply TV and the likes of Spotify play without any issues.

Ads on YouTube in particular may cause frequent switching of the video signal for frame rate and/or dynamic range. That switching of the HDMI signal will have the TV take some time to adjust, blacking out for a few seconds — unless you have a modern higher end TV that supports QMS (Quick Media Switching).

This behavior can be avoided by setting the Apple TV box to send a continuous constant frame rate and dynamic range, by disabling the Match Content options in Settingsï¹¥Video and Audioï¹¥.
