Imessage Notifcations/Banners not appearing when someone texts me.

As of yesterday Wednesday April 11, I have not gotten any Imessages notifications BUT I do get notifications from apps like Life360 and Youtube. This is very frustrating and I would like some help to figure out why it is not working. I had a friend Spam text my phone and no notifications would show up on the lock screen or home screen. The only place where the Imessage notifications would show is the app icon at the bottm of my screen.

This is my lock screen. I do not have any notifications from Imessage. Yes I did go the settings then to notifactions everything is on.
