Latest update will not complete the process. It’s been saying requested for 24 hours now.
Started latest update 17.4.1 over 24 hours ago, it remains stuck on requested.

The update process has evidently stalled. If the iPad is unresponsive, your only option is to perform a forced restart of the iPad:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
- Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
- Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
- Press and hold the top button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
After restarting the iPad, you can repeat the update. Keep your iPad connected to its Power Adapter throughout the update process; keeping the iPad powered from an external source will keep the WiFi connection active.
