MS Word for Mac - Unable to save documents as PDF

In my previous reply I was talking about use the PDF option in the print dialog but I have now tested using File Save As to PDF and it is working for we with both new and existing documents.

I'm not having that issue using the same version of Word and Sonoma.

Note - I was using File menu > Print and then choosing the PDF save option.

That always works for me.

That is what I was doing as well. I've never used the Save As option for PDFs.

I have Office 2021 for Mac installed on Sonoma 14.4.1. Word's Save As… panel allows one to choose PDF as the File Format like so:

It really is that simple, and I never use the Print panel for saving PDFs, or use OneDrive. Always to the local drive.
