Hi all...On my MacAir I sent a friend a text, along with a screenshot of something. This was days ago. And now, ever since, it never went through, I can't text her, and for days it's just been the the colorful spinning wheel! It's driving me nuts. I've tried everything! Gone to settings, shut computer down, etc. etc. Please help! Thank you all! I always find good, solid advice from you all that always works! Thank you!

Try starting up your Mac in Safe Mode. Once in that mode, try sending your friend a text again. Let us know the results.
Apple "broke" MacOS with Sonoma, IMO, I get the spinning color wheel all the time now as well as my MacBook has rebooted itself a few times, this has never happened in the past with pre-Sonoma MacOS. It's becoming Windows, sad...
I'm not quite sure how to add an update to my original above message, so going to do so this way!! I was finally, FINALLY, able to rectify this frustrating issue!!!! I can't even tell you how I got to the point of fixing it. All I know is I was trying something, and quite a large number of that particular text popped-up. After closing all those windows that popped-up, except the last one, I was able to click on some things, couldn't tell you what, (I did turn off "ShareWithYou"...not sure if that's what did it) and the problem is finally gone! Man, what a headache that was!
