How do I open a .mov file that QuickTime says is incompatible?

What does MediaInfo > View > Text say about the movie codecs (you can paste it as "Additional text")?

I use IINA for such movies. Or convert the to some compatible codec with Handbrake, Shutter Encoder, Avidemux, ffmpeg etc.

.MOV files are containers, and can contain all sorts of different stuff.

Maybe VLC can play whatever is in this container?
