Did Apple change maps, and in the process make me lose valuable locations I had saved? Thanks Apple for making life so much easier! NOT.

I have lost EVERY SINGLE ONE of my easily accessed addresses on maps. Did Apple change something? The app is acting differently. Now, I will lose more and more valuable time re-inputting all that info, collected over years, and follow a more complicated process to put those easy links back in. Is Apple trying to make life better or harder for us? What was the purpose of this change? Are they going to pay me for my time like I pay for their equipment and support? Is there an easy way I’m not aware of to get back all the locations I lost, including those I had to input when I was physically at location site since there was no address, just gps coordinates for the app to pick up???

do I say thank you to Apple? Lots of questions and I bet few answers.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

Are you still signed in to your Apple ID on your phone? If not, try signing back in. If you are, have your saved locations disappeared from Maps on all your Apple devices (if you use any others)? If a location is still in your Favorites, say, on a Mac, click on it, then click the three dots in the upper right corner of the box that opens, and choose Send to Device.
